Bechtelsville
Borough was incorporated on
September 11, 1890. It was named
after John S. Bechtel, the son of a
local farmer and miller. During its
history, Bechtelsville Borough has
been home to numerous businesses
including a bakery, funeral home,
knitting mill, harness shop and a
creamery.
Currently, approximately 950 people
reside in the Borough of
Bechtelsville. There are also a few
businesses that operate here. The
Borough also has a beautiful
community park with a baseball
field, volleyball court, playground
